I earned Ph.D. degree in KAIST by designing Deep Learning System-on-Chip for Self-driving Cars. My research interests extend to Digital Processor and System-on-Chip design for Artificial Intelligence applications, Neuromorphic Chip, Network-on-Chip, Automotive Processor, Deep Learning Processor, AI Embedded Systems, and Autonomous Technologies. Before joining UNIST, I worked for SRA (Dallas, TX, USA) and uxfactory (Start-up company located at Pangyo, Korea) and designed AI processors including deep learning accelerator.

My vision at UNIST is to put our department on the world’s top rank and beat MIT and I am looking for students who are full of PASSION and ENTHUSIASM.
