컨설턴트 인턴은 VMware 프로페셔널 서비스 팀의 일원으로 VMware 제품 및 솔루션에 대한 기술과 지식, 경험을 쌓고 서버인프라, 애플리케이션 플랫폼 지원, 자동화된 프로비저닝, VMware 의 SDDC(소프트웨어 정의 데이터 센터) 등에 대해 이해를 높일수 있습니다. 또한 VMware Certification – VMware Certified Professional(VCP)을 자격을 취득할 수 있는 기회가 제공됩니다.
인턴십 기간동안 하게 될 업무는 무엇인가요?

• 서버 가상화, 클라우드 네이티브 애플리케이션 플랫폼, 쿠버네티스, 컨테이너 네트워킹 및 보안, 클라우드 자동화와 같은기술을 배울 수 있습니다.
• 솔루셔닝을 위한 데모 및 준비와 같은 심층적인 기술지식을 습득합니다.

• 고객 사례에 대한 프레젠테이션을 만듭니다.
• 간단한 프로그램을 작성하거나 새로운 기술을 연구합니다.
• 기술 컨텐츠 라이브러리를 만드는데 기여하고 문서화합니다.
• 다른 컨설턴트 및 리더들의 가이드와 코칭을 받습니다.

인턴십 수행을 위해 필요한 능력은 어떤 것이 있나요?

• 전공자: 컴퓨터 과학/공학, 소프트웨어 엔지니어링 등
• 비전공자: 컴퓨터 과학/공학이나 소프트웨어, 클라우드에 기초지식 보유자나 이 분야에 많은 관심과 열정, 배우려는 의지
• VMware Technology 에 많은 관심
• 프로페셔널한 비지니스 마인드와 태도를 가지고 효과적으로 협업
• 원활한 의사소통 능력과 대인 관계 기술로 팀 및 고객 대면 환경에서 일할 수 있는 능력
• 의사소통이 가능한 영어 실력
• 셀프스타터 (Self-Starter)
• 인턴십, 실무 경험 및/또는 대학 프로젝트에서 IT 경험
• Python, Java, NodeJS 나 다른 프로그래밍 언어 중 적어도 한 가지의 프로그래밍 언어 기술 보유자
• 응용프로그램 개발 지식 (선호사항)

Intern, Professional Services Consultant (Delivery Consultant)
Start Date: June 22,2022
Prerequisites Criteria:

• We’re looking for final year students graduating in Feb 2023.
• This job opportunity is not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship by VMware.

As a consultant intern, you have the opportunity to acquire technical knowledge and experience in VMware products
and solutions. You are required to develop understanding of server infrastructure, application platform support,
automated provisioning and VMware’s Software Defined Datacentre (SDDC), etc. industry leading methodology.
You will get the opportunity to do a VMware Certification – VMware Certified Professional (VCP)!
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes during your internship you will work towards completing?

• Exposure to technology coverage include server virtualization, cloud native application platform, kubernetes,

container networking and security, cloud automation.

• Help with technical in-depth understanding such as solutioning with demonstration and preparation.
• Help in establishing and documenting linkage with key industry-academe contacts in your school.
• Create client reference presentations.
• Write simple programs, perform research on new technologies.
• Document and contribute to technical content library.
• Take guidance from other Consultants and leadership where needed.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing
on a regular basis?

• You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or

equivalent field.

• Keen interest and passion in all things technology, business and social science.
• You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• High interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team and customer-facing environment.
• Be a self-starter.
• Hands on IT experience from either Internships, Co-Ops, Work Experience and/or University Projects.
• You possess strong programming skills in at least one language: Python, Java, NodeJS or other similar

language.

• Application development knowledge (Preferred)
• Ability to explain the complex in simple terms (Preferred)

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?
The role would be reporting into a Manager of Professional Services team for Korea.
He has a big team, and we work cohesively together to achieve results.
Where is the role located?
Seoul. Non-Remoted. (Flexible work arrangement such as working from home are allowed.)
