UNIST ECE students’ paper accepted at ICCAD 2017
SoCDL’s paper (authors: Mingyu Woo, Seungwon Kim and Prof. Seokhyeong Kang) “GRASP based Metaheuristics for Layout Pattern Classification” has been accepted for presentation at 2017 36th IEEE/ACM ICCAD (International Conference on Computer Aided Design) in Irvine, California in coming November.
ICCAD is one of the top conference in the field of EDA (Electronic Design Automation). In this paper, proposed metaheuristics optimized a cluster count in the pattern classification problem, which is required for building lithography hotspot pattern library.
Proposed metaheuristic outperforms the best-reported results on all of the ICCAD 2016 benchmarks. In addition, it also achieved up to a 50% cluster count reduction, and improve a runtime significantly compared to a commercial EDA tool.
